Maybe on your phone or tablet, maybe in a planner, or on a calendar—they’re a good way to keep track of obligations, but the problem is they seldom elicit happiness. They remind us about all the stuff we might rather forget: appointments we’re dreading, tasks we’ve been putting off, to-do list items that we know deep down will never get done.
This is wonderful! Changes/shifts in perspective come with practice, so this makes so much sense. It's funny how making one small change can lead a ripple effect of massive changes in the end. Grateful for those small steps in the big picture!
