That Point Between Your Eyebrows
Dear Patient,
The acupuncture point Yin Tang, located between the eyebrows, lands near the top of my Most-Requested Points list. It’s one of those points that instantly relaxes people, plus it’s great for allergies, headaches, brain fog and all manner of eye problems.
But the real strength of Yin Tang lies in its ability to open up our vision.
The name Yin Tang means Hall of Impression. Imagine the constant stream of pictures and impressions and images that come at you every day, both from the outside world and from within. Yin Tang allows you to take it all in. It helps you see your surroundings with new eyes, and to peer deeply into your own inner realm to gain clarity. Yin Tang expands your horizons.
When the path is unclear, when you feel you’re in a haze, when the way forward seems clouded—these are times to draw upon the power of the Hall of Impression. Close your eyes, breathe, and bring your awareness to the place between your eyebrows. What do you feel? What do you see? Allow the Hall of Impression to light the darkness and guide you onward.
Love and gratitude,
Your Acupuncturist
P.S. Every Wednesday I write about a different acupuncture point - are there any you’re curious about? Let me know!
