Thank you for this! I bought an acupressure mat early in the pandemic but never used it because laying on it on the floor was too excruciating. So after your suggestion to lay it on pillows, I went and got mine and laid on it for 10 minutes while I listened to the rest of this - it felt great! I already know that having acupuncture on my back is always the most effective for me, but I can't lay on my stomach for a whole treatment because my sinuses fill up and I can't breathe. I wish for one of those massage chairs where you can lean forward, lol. Anyway, I have problems with tension and pain up and down the UB channel and I'm currently in the midst of my second UTI, so this is definitely worth a try.

The past couple days, before the antibiotics kicked in, I didn't feel like even listening to a podcast let alone doing acupressure. I tried to get myself to do it but really couldn't. I did do some meditations, imaging my body healthy and full of healing energy and vitality. I managed some healing sounds. But the mat is something passive I could have done.
