Hello, Dear Reader!
Notes from Your Acupuncturist is back! After a Pause for the summer, I’m relaunching the newsletter and excited to announce some changes.
You’ll still hear from me regularly…just not as often
First of all, you’ll probably be hearing from me about once a week. Maybe twice. I loved sending out multiple short notes per week, but it didn’t allow much time to explore the other formats available on Substack. Less frequent publishing will give me the flexibility to try new stuff. You might get a short Note from me, or a long one, or a video, or I might pose a question and ask for your input. We’ll see what happens!
Coming soon: the Notes from Your Acupuncturist podcast!
Secondly, I’m launching a podcast! If you’re a subscriber to Notes from Your Acupuncturist, you’ll get an email anytime I drop a new episode. You can listen via web browser, or better yet, the Substack app!
It will also be available on all the major podcasting platforms (just search for the conveniently-titled Notes from Your Acupuncturist podcast). The podcast will feature fascinating interviews with acupuncturists, holistic practitioners and healers. I’ve already recorded some episodes and I’m so excited to share these conversations with you.
New optional paid subscription!
Finally, I’m launching a paid version of NFYA. One of the great things about Substack is that it allows writers and creators to benefit financially from the work they produce, by offering a paid option. If you choose to become a paid subscriber, the biggest benefit to you is simply the satisfaction of knowing that you’re helping to contribute financially to my work. I may also share occasional bonus material with paid subscribers, such as podcast material that didn’t make the cut into the final episode. If you enjoy NFYA and get something out of it, please consider becoming a paid subscriber.
If you’d rather stick with a free subscription, that’s great too! I know not everyone is in a position to pay for an email newsletter. I promise, the vast majority of my content— including written Notes, videos, and podcast episodes—will always be free.
I’ve missed you over these past few months and I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer. Mine has been interesting. I’ll tell you about it soon.
Love and gratitude,
Your Acupuncturist
Welcome back….. we’ve missed you!
I only have 6 saved Substack posts by the way and 4 of them are yours! So you bet I subscribed.
