Does Acupuncture Help With That?
Dear Patient,
It’s a question we acupuncturists hear often…Does acupuncture help with that?
The answer is almost always yes.
Acupuncture helps with everyday nuisances like headaches, allergies, tight muscles and stress.
Acupuncture helps with conditions that aren’t responding well to medication, or maybe the medication helps but causes side effects—things like chronic pain and mood disorders.
Acupuncture helps with what I think of as “moving target” conditions, like autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia and IBS.
Acupuncture helps with anything made worse by stress.
Acupuncture helps us weather life’s changes—the aches and pains of osteoarthritis, the hot flashes of perimenopause, the grief that finds us if we’ve spent enough time on this planet.
Acupuncture helps when you’re buried by depression, or on the edge of anxiety’s cliff, or when you want to move forward but you feel stuck in place.
Acupuncture helps with insomnia and PMS and infertility and neuropathy and morning sickness and tendinitis and vertigo and supporting you through chemotherapy and radiation and pretty much anything that doesn’t require a trip to the emergency room.
It helps because ultimately, acupuncture is a conversation with yourself. The needles are the conversation-starters, little prompts, reminders of your potential. Where you take the conversation is up to you.
But yes, acupuncture helps with that.
Love and gratitude,
Your Acupuncturist
