Dear Patient, Deadlines. So often they’re arbitrary and self-imposed, yet we drive ourselves to illness and exhaustion in our quest to meet them. This week I’ve taken time off from work to attend a week-long dance intensive at my local studio. And I’ve had friends in town on two separate occasions within the last week. All of it has thrown me off my normal routine, and it’s been a crowded week, but crowded in a good way—with fun, and joy, and love.
So true - glad you gave yourself permission to have fun. Deadlines will always be there. Our friends and family won't.
